Heinz Eggers
Heinz Eggers (born April 15, 1918 in Colmar ; † August 24, 2012 in Mainz ) was a German geographer .
Life
From 1945 to 1951 he studied at the University of Freiburg im Breisgau (1951 first state examination ). After receiving his doctorate in 1952 with Nikolaus Creutzburg in Freiburg im Breisgau and his habilitation in 1959, he was Professor of Geography at the University of Mainz from 1965 to 1985 .
