Heinz Hanner
Heinz Hanner (born February 15, 1963 in Vienna ) is an Austrian cook and cookbook author. Until 2016 he was a hotelier in Mayerling , in the Vienna Woods .
Life and business
From 1979 to 1981, Hanner attended the tourism school in St. Pölten . From 1982 to 1990 he worked in his parents' Hotel Marienhof . In 1986, Hanner opened his Kronprinz restaurant , when he first worked as a chef. In 1989 it was awarded the first Gault Millau toque . Since 1990, Heinz Hanner has been an independent entrepreneur after purchasing the property from his parents Johann and Cäcilia Hanner. In 2002 the renovation of the property began, which was opened as a restaurant-hotel-meeting point Hanner in December 2003. In 2006 the company became a member of Relais & Châteaux and in 2007 Les Grandes Tables du Monde .
In addition to the restaurant area, the Leger bistro and a spacious garden, the company has 20 double rooms and a conference area with three seminar rooms.
At the beginning of May 2016, the company closed, allegedly because of the stricter compliance rules of the companies, i.e. the savings in business meals. The property was acquired by Hans Peter Haselsteiner , who made it available to the Vincent Community for a Vinzi rest in 2019 .
