Heinz Heydecke
Heinz Heydecke (born December 18, 1931 in Sangerhausen , † November 23, 1985 in Berlin ) was a German writer .
Life
Heinz Heydecke was the son of a seamstress and a bricklayer and had a brother. He got a vacancy in the middle school , today's Goethe School. From 1946 to 1949 he completed an apprenticeship as a locksmith , as which he then worked for some time. He later became a police officer and worked in a group of writing workers . He broke off a journalism degree in Leipzig after June 17, 1953 and initially left the GDR .
From 1953 to 1958 he went to sea and then returned to Sangerhausen. During this time he wrote his novel "Die Schilfteichpiraten", which is partly autobiographical , like almost all of his other stories. Heinz Heydecke worked for a time on the Thomas-Münzer-Schacht , at the SDAG Wismut , in the Neubrandenburg housing combination and in the Leunawerke .
From 1969 to 1972 he completed a distance learning course at the "Johannes R. Becher" literature institute in Leipzig.
He also worked for the radio .
