Heinz Ingenbold (born June 4, 1937 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Ingenbold belonged to Schwarz-Weiß Essen as a midfielder, he started for the club in 1958/59 in the 2nd Oberliga West , ended his premiere season as runner-up behind Hamborn 07 and with this success in the Oberliga West , in one of five seasons as the highest German League, promotion. He was only able to enjoy this for one year for the time being, as he was the last of 16 clubs to relegate to the 2nd Oberliga West. From this he returned as a master in 1961 and together with Fortuna Düsseldorf in the upper house. The last two league seasons before the founding of the Bundesliga as the highest German division, he finished fourth and seventh with his team.

From 1963 to 1967 he played in the second-rate Regionalliga West . Placed thirteenth, ninth and seventh in the first three seasons, at the end of the 1966/67 season they now achieved second place, which allowed them to participate in the promotion to the Bundesliga . But he finished Group 1 with his team in second place, one point behind promoted Borussia Neunkirchen. For Schwarz-Weiß Essen he played 88 league games, in which he scored a goal, and three games in the DFB-Pokal competition.

The elimination game won 6: 3 at Hertha BSC on August 16, 1959 , reached the semi-finals, which on December 12 was also won 2: 1 after extra time at Hamburger SV , which had not been defeated at home for three and a half years . He and his team achieved their greatest sporting success with the final, won 5-2 against Borussia Neunkirchen in the Kassel Auestadion on December 27th .
