Heinz Neuhaus (politician)

Heinz Neuhaus (born December 18, 1945 in Katzwinkel , † December 17, 1992 in Olpe ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Life

Neuhaus attended elementary school until 1960 and then a vocational school until 1963. He made a commercial apprenticeship, which he completed in 1963 with the examination of a clerk. He became a trainer according to the trainer aptitude ordinance and in 1980 authorized signatory of the Lampertz company in Betzdorf .

politics

In 1966 he joined the Junge Union and the CDU. In 1979 he became deputy chairman of the CDU branch, in 1985 deputy chairman of the district association and later a member of the state party committee. In 1979 he became a member of the Betzdorf city council, 1980 of the Betzdorf municipal council and 1984 of the Altenkirchen district council, where he was chairman of the Altenkirchen CDU district parliamentary group.

On January 1, 1986, he succeeded Paul Wingendorf in the tenth Landtag of Rhineland-Palatinate, to which he belonged for two electoral terms until 1991. In the state parliament he was a secretary and in the 10th electoral term a member of the Interior Committee and Media Policy Committee. In the 11th term he was a member of the Social and Health Committee and the Home Affairs Committee.

From 1966 to 1978 he was a member of the national executive committee of the Kolping Society , 1969-1978 a member of the International General Presidium of the Kolping Society, chairman of the DJK Betzdorf and deputy chairman of the DJK diocesan association in Trier.
