Heinz Schicks

Heinz Schicks (born April 6, 1934 in Berlin ; † November 12, 2008 there ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Heinz Schicks attended a grammar school and did an administration apprenticeship until 1953. He then studied at the Berlin Administrative School and became a civil servant in 1955 . He initially worked in the Kreuzberg district office , but in January 1975 he switched to the German Caritas Association at the Archdiocese of Berlin . Schicks joined the CDU as early as 1963. In the Berlin election in 1975 he was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives, to which he was a member until 1989.

In 1994, Schicks was honored with the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon .
