Heinz Schmalix
Heinrich "Heinz" Schmalix (* July 24, 1910 ; † 1975 ) was a German hockey player .
Heinz Schmalix played for the Berlin HC , with which he became German champion in 1941. The midfielder made his debut in 1935 in the German national hockey team . At the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin, five players from the Berliner HC, Alfred Gerdes , Werner Hamel , Erwin Keller , Herbert Kemmer and Heinz Schmalix, were part of the German squad. All five Berliners also played in the final, in which the Indians, who were then unbeatable, won 8-1. Heinz Schmalix played a total of 28 international matches from 1935 to 1941.
