Heinz Schussig (born October 9, 1926 - † January 4, 1994 ) was a German football player .
Career
societies
The right defender Schussig began his career at Arminia Bielefeld . With the Arminia he rose in 1949 to the then first-class Oberliga West and was the only player in his team to complete all 30 games of the season in the 1949/50 season. After the descent of Bielefeld, he played 22 missions in the second division West in the following season , in which the “Arminia” missed the rise. For the 1951/52 season Schussig moved to Eintracht Osnabrück , for which he scored a goal in 30 games in the Oberliga Nord .
For the 1952/53 season he switched to SV Saar 05 Saarbrücken , for which he completed 76 point games in the Oberliga Südwest until 1956 and was promoted to national team.
National team
Shotig played three times for the Saarland national team . He made his debut on October 5, 1952 in Strasbourg against the B national team of France. In the three international A matches for Saarland, he was without a goal. For the B national team, he played the international match won on May 1, 1955 in Neunkircher Ellenfeldstadion 4-2 against the B selection of the Netherlands. After the end of his sporting career, Schussig emigrated to Australia .
