Helímenas de Jesús Rojo Paredes CIM (born April 22, 1926 in Calderas ) is retired Archbishop of Calabozo .
Life
Helímenas de Jesús Rojo Paredes joined the religious order of the Congregation of Jesus and Mary and was ordained a priest on July 8, 1950 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Calabozo on March 24, 1980 . The Archbishop of Mérida , Miguel Antonio Salas Salas , donated him episcopal ordination on May 18 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Domingo Roa Pérez , Archbishop of Maracaibo , and José Alí Lebrún Moratinos , Coadjutor Archbishop of Caracas, Santiago de Venezuela .
With the elevation of the diocese of Calabozo to the archbishopric , he was appointed archbishop of Calabozo on June 17, 1995. On December 27, 2001, John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
