Helene Johanna Zeller (born December 21, 1878 in Neipperg , † March 11, 1964 in Tübingen ) was a German writer .

Life

Helene Johanna Zeller was the daughter of the Protestant pastor Paul Renatus Zeller (1848-1924), who was dean in the church district of Freudenstadt from 1891 to 1916 . After long stays in Switzerland and Great Britain , she founded a private girls' school in Freudenstadt . From 1912 she lived as a freelance writer. Until 1916 she also worked as an editor for various newspapers in Freudenstadt and Bad Rippoldsau . Later she also worked as a language teacher for English . Zeller last lived in Tübingen.

Helene Johanna Zeller wrote novels and stories , mainly for children and young people . She also translated from English into German .
