Helene M. Kastinger Riley
Helene M. Kastinger Riley (born March 11, 1939 in Vienna ) is an American Germanist.
Life
Until she moved to the USA in 1959, Riley studied music in Vienna. She continued these studies in America and received her bachelor's degree in 1970 . Then Riley studied German and received his doctorate in 1975 from Rice University on Achim von Arnim . In the same year she was appointed to Yale University .
