Helga Pfeil-Braun

Helga Pfeil-Braun (born May 27, 1925 in Frankfurt am Main ; † on July 14, 2016 there ) was a German author and pioneer in the field of further training for secretaries.

Life

Helga Pfeil-Braun became known through the founding of the Helga Braun secretary's studio on Roßmarkt in Frankfurt am Main in the early 1950s; also through some later publications, such as B. How to become chief secretary . She left the vocational school as a state-certified chemical technician , but worked temporarily after the Second World War as chief secretary and authorized signatory. It started first with evening courses, later with day and week courses. Her work became a stepping stone for tens of thousands of working women in the office. At the beginning of 2012, many of her documents were kept in the archive of the Frankfurt Institute for Urban History .

Up until the end, Pfeil-Braun lived in a senior citizens' residence in Frankfurt-Bergen-Enkheim .
