All-Star Game

Trainer

The Head Coaches ( German  head coach ) of the two All-Star teams are traditionally the two coaches whose team is leading two weeks before the game, the respective Conference. For the team of the Western Conference was Steve Kerr , coach of the Golden State Warriors , and the team of the Eastern Conference Mike Bude Holzer , coach of the Atlanta Hawks responsible. For both coaches it was the first participation as head coach of an all-star team.

Squad

The players (two guards and three front court players per conference) who received the most votes by fan vote were set for the starting grid. After the election, the 30 head coaches of the NBA clubs selected a further seven players for their conference team (two guards, three front court players and two other position-independent players), so that a total of 24 players (+ subsequently nominated players) take part in this game.
