Helge Philipp

Helge Philipp (born January 20, 1944 ; born: Helge Engelbach ) is a German journalist and former television presenter .

Career

She studied French and sports. In the early 1970s , the ZDF was looking for new faces for its programs. In addition to news anchors, moderators were also wanted. In a selection process, the then 27-year-old was among the last 26 applicants and in the end made the race.

After a traineeship in the editor-in-chief of ZDF, she came to the turntable and presented it for the first time in 1972. She worked both in front of and behind the camera as an editor for the tabloid magazine. Helge Philipp presented the turntable for ten years, until the end of March 1982.

On April 1, 1982, the tele-illustrated was launched as a follow-up program. Helge Philipp also moderated this program until 1989, then she said goodbye to the screen for a few years and worked as an editor behind the camera.

In 1992 she presented the country journal on ZDF , the follow-up program to tele-illustrated .

From 1993 onwards, Helge von der Heyde worked for the ZDF regional studio in Wiesbaden for a few years and then reported from there more often for the country mirror .

Since leaving the ZDF professionally, the Wiesbaden native has been doing voluntary work in her hometown.

Private

Helge Philipp was married twice.

In 1984 she married the Hamburg journalist Nils von der Heyde , from whom she has since divorced.

She lives in Wiesbaden.
