Helichrysum doerfleri is a plant from the genus of immortelle ( Helichrysum ) in the family of Compositae (Asteraceae). It is named in honor of the Austrian botanist Ignaz Dörfler (1866–1950),

Helichrysum doerfleri is a clumpy, perennial subshrub that reaches heights of 5 to 8 centimeters. The leaves are linear-spatula-shaped. The basal sheets are usually 5 to 10, rarely up to 15 millimeters long. The white shell has a diameter of 15 millimeters. While the outer bracts are ovate, the inner ones are lanceolate. They grow taller than the flowers. The short-stalked flower heads are usually arranged in pairs to four, rarely individually.

The flowering period extends from May to June.

Occurrence

Helichrysum doerfleri is endemic to the Lasithi regional unit in eastern Crete . The species grows in Afendis Kavousi in Phrygana at altitudes of 750 to 1450 meters.
