Habitus Heliophanus sp.

Some representatives of the genus Heliophanus have a mostly clear red, green or copper-colored metallic sheen. This is partly on the body surface or is caused by dandruff hair. The drawing of the different species consists of different patterns made up of white hair ties or spots. The pedipalps of the females are bright yellow, those of the males are dark like the legs, but with white stripes of hair.

The species of the genus Heliophanus are represented in Europe , Asia and Africa . There are eleven species in Central Europe .
