The Heller Rock ( English ; Spanish Islote Heller ) is a cliff rock in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . In the southern part of Discovery Bay on Greenwich Island, it is less than 70 m from Correa Point and around 1 km southeast of Labbé Point .
Scientists of the 1st Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1946–1947) named him after José Heller C., carpenter on board the Iquique on this research trip . The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee translated this designation into English in 2003 in an adapted form.
