Hellmuth Swietelsky

Hellmuth Swietelsky (born March 23, 1905 in Traiskirchen (Lower Austria); † February 23, 1995 in Zell am See (Salzburg)) was an Austrian entrepreneur and construction technician.

Swietelsky is the founder of one of the largest private construction companies in Austria. He founded the Swietelsky company in Gmunden in Upper Austria in 1936. But he was also active in the public sector, for example, he was Honorary President of the Austrian Society for Road Construction. He was a founding member of the ÖAMTC .

In 1978 Swietelsky became an honorary senator of the Vienna University of Technology .
