Hello Gravity is a pop / indie / alternative band from Schrobenhausen, founded in 2007 .

history

Hello Gravity was founded by Mike Zitzelsberger ( vocals , keyboard ), his brother Tom Zitzelsberger ( bass ), Felix Julian Koch ( guitar ) and Simon Popp ( drums ). The four band members met at school when they were all still playing in other bands. They became friends through their shared passion and have since played together as Hello Gravity. After some regional successes and numerous appearances in Munich, producer Ron Flieger from the Dienje Music label became aware of them. Shortly afterwards, they were signed up there.

In summer 2011 her debut album WUNDERKIND was released in Germany and Austria via Dienje Music, distributed by Rough Trade Distribution . The Rolling Stone described it in 2011 in its August issue than "Artist to Watch" and the intro wrote: "Hello Gravity play a surprisingly uncomplicated variant of the widespread indie Wave British traits without unimaginative imitators to fade away." Since 2012, they have played numerous concerts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and played as the opening act for bands such as Oh Land , One Night Only and Tahiti 80 .
