Helmar Schöne

Helmar Schöne (* 1966 in Berlin ) is a German political scientist and university professor .

Life

Schöne studied political science and sociology in Berlin and graduated in 1992 with a diploma in political science. After completing his studies, he initially worked in various social science research projects before he started working at the Institute for Social Science Research at the Free University of Berlin in 1999 with the work Problems and Chances of Parliamentary Integration: An empirical study on the East-West integration process among members of the Dr. phil. received his doctorate. Then from 1999 to 2002 Schöne was a research assistant at the Institute for Political Science at the Technical University of Dresden , then from 2002 to 2010 at the University of Education Schwäbisch Gmünd , with an interruption in 2006 when he was a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the University of Iowa . In Schwäbisch Gmünd , the habilitation took place in 2009 with the thesis Everyday in Parliament: Parliamentary Culture in Theory and Empiricism.

After Visiting Professor at the Chair of the Political System of the Federal Republic of Germany at the University of Leipzig in 2010, followed in 2011 Beautiful a call to the professor of Political Science and its didactics at the University of Education Schwäbisch Gmünd. From 2013 to 2016 he was Vice Rector for Studies and Teaching at the PH .

Research priorities

The research focus on beautiful things includes parliamentarianism research , political-cultural research and dealing with the government system of the Federal Republic of Germany . He also deals with the professional knowledge of teachers .
