Helmut Adamzyk

Helmut Adamzyk (born February 6, 1926 in Zweibrücken , † June 22, 1996 in Koblenz ) was a German politician ( CDU , SPD ). From 1963 to 1975 he was a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament .

After attending school in Zweibrücken, Kirn and Idar-Oberstein from 1932 to 1943, he did military service from 1943 to 1945 and was a prisoner of war from 1945 to 1947. From 1947 to 1950 he worked as a miner, farm worker and interpreter and attended the agricultural school in Zweibrücken. In 1949 he graduated from high school and studied at the Kusel Pedagogical Academy from 1950 to 1952. Then he was a primary school teacher in Ruppertsweiler , Neuburg am Rhein and Kandel (Palatinate) until 1956 . 1956 to 1963 he was headmaster in Krähenberg .

In 1957 he joined the CDU and was chairman of the CDU district association Zweibrücken-Land from 1959 to 1967. 1960 to 1963 he was a member of the district council and the district committee. 1961 to 1964 he was deputy chairman of the JU Pfalz. In 1962 he became a member of the CDU district board of the Palatinate and a member of the Zweibrücken city council. In 1964 he was a member of the 4th Federal Assembly .

In the 5th to 7th electoral term he was a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament . In the 5th electoral term, he was a writing representative and a member of the cultural policy committee. Petitions Committee. In the 6th electoral term he was a member of the Petitions Committee, the Social Policy Committee and the Committee on Administrative Reform.

In 1969 he switched to the SPD, but kept his state parliament mandate. In the 7th electoral term (now elected on the list of the SPD), he was a member of the Petitions Committee and the Committee on Administrative Reform.
