Helmut Bröker

Helmut Bröker (* 1929 in Herne , † 2006 in Berlin ) was a German philosopher .

Life

Helmut Bröker became known through exhibition openings , lectures , author readings , seminars , including during the Documenta exhibitions in 1977, 1982, 1987 and 1992 in the Documenta seminar that takes place regularly (daily) and publicly at various locations in Kassel ; in the resulting KUNSTGESPRÄCH, a public forum he has designed since 1983 for encounters and exchanges in places in Basel, St. Gallen and Zurich and from 1984 in Berlin, u. a. during the Free Berlin Art Exhibition (FBK) 1994; on the wrapping of the Reichstag by Christ in 1995 in an -art talk- in the open air. The -art talks- continued to take place on publicly relevant topics until his death.

Bröker left behind no books or printed lectures, but invitations to the events he was responsible for. These end in the 2016 edition rotefadenbuecher a documentation appeared, also known as e-book is available.
