Helmut Dahringer

Helmut Dahringer (* 1919 ; † February 7, 2011 ) was a German lawyer and local politician.

Life

Dahringer received his doctorate in 1950 from the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg .

After Josef Hollerbach left the mayor's office at his own request, Dahringer was elected as the new mayor of Gaggenau . During his term of office, which lasted from 1968 to 1984, the town center was redeveloped and Gaggenau was elevated to the status of a major district town in 1971. The latter accounted for population growth in the course of several incorporations . Dahringer thus became mayor .
