Josef Hollerbach

Josef Oskar Hollerbach (born March 13, 1898 in Hardheim , Odenwald, † September 18, 1971 in Rastatt ) was a German local politician ( CDU ).

Career

Hollerbach was council clerk in Ottenau from 1926 until it was incorporated in 1935 . From 1938 he was the city ​​inspector in Gaggenau . On July 4, 1950, he was appointed acting mayor, succeeding Oskar Fritz , and was confirmed in office on December 10, 1950 by election. In November 1959 he was elected for a further twelve years. During his term of office, the reconstruction of the city and the new construction of the town hall fell in 1958. At his own request, he left office in June 1968. He was also a member of the Rastatt district council and district council from 1953 to 1971 and chairman of the CDU parliamentary group there.

In 1950 he was a co-founder of the South Baden Association of Cities and, after the founding of the Southwest State, from 1952 a member of the board of the Baden-Wuerttemberg City Association as well as a member of the board and the administrative board of the Badischer Gemeindeversicherungsverband .
