Helmut Gregert

Helmut Gregert (born November 5, 1945 in Behle , Pomerania ) is a German politician ( CDU ). From 2002 to 2009 he was a member of the Saxon State Parliament .

Life and work

Helmut Gregert finished his school career after the 10th grade and did an apprenticeship as a car mechanic from 1962 to 1965 . In his profession he worked for PGH Wingendorf - Pirna until April 1966 and from 1967 to 1984 for VEB Stadtwirtschaft Pirna. There he was then from 1985 to 1988 as deputy workshop manager and from 1989 to 1992 operations manager. From July 1990 VEB was converted into Nehlsen Disposal GmbH.

From 1993 to 1998 Helmut Gregert acted as regional manager of the CDU regional association of Saxony . For a few months in 1998 he was looking for work. From October 1998 to December 1999 he worked for the property management Raumpflege Pirna GmbH as an operations coordinator. In 2000 he was again looking for work for a few months. From April 2000 to June 2001 he was coordinator for field service / ABM at the city administration of Pirna. From 2001 to 2002 he worked at Sparkasse Freital-Pirna.

He is married with two children and is a member of the Roman Catholic Church .

Helmut Gregert has been a member of the CDU since 1990 and has been a member of the Saxon Switzerland district committee since 1999 . For his party he sat in the city parliament of Pirna from 1990 to 1994 and was a member of the Saxon Switzerland district council from 1994 to 1999 .

In September 2002 Gregert replaced Peter Jahr , who moved to the German Bundestag, to the Saxon state parliament. In the 2004 election he won the direct mandate in the constituency of Sächsische Schweiz 1 (constituency 49) and was a member of the Committee on Environment and Agriculture and both committees of inquiry during the fourth electoral term (2004–2009) . After the 2009 election , Gregert left the state parliament.

In addition to his partisan work, he is also the chairman of the Pirna Kolping Family .
