Helmut Haid
Helmut Haid (born November 18, 1938 in Innsbruck ; † June 8, 2019 ) was an Austrian hurdler and sprinter .
Career
He was eliminated from the 400 m hurdles at the European Athletics Championships in Belgrade in 1962 and the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo. At the EM in 1966 in Budapest, he reached the semi-finals.
In 1970 he reached the semifinals at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Vienna over 60 m hurdles.
He was Austrian champion over 400 m hurdles ten times (1961–1965, 1967–1969, 1971, 1972) and twice over 400 m (1962, 1968) and 110 m hurdles (1963, 1964).
