Helmut Keckeis (born February 12, 1957 in Villach ) is a former Austrian ice hockey player who has been working as an ice hockey trainer and official since the end of his career.

Career

As a player, Keckeis was active in the Bundesliga for many years, including for the EC VSV . He also played for ASKÖ Spitz Linz and ice hockey in Gmunden . In 1983 he took part in the B World Cup with the Austrian national team, scored one goal and finished third with the national team.

After his active career as a player, Keckeis worked as a coach and function. He is currently training trainers and is committed to the next generation.

From 2014 he was a junior coach at UEHV Traunsee Sharks, and later he also took over the club's first men's team.
