Helmut Langenbruch
Helmut Langenbruch (* 1955 in Bad Kreuznach ) is a German organist .
Life
Langenbruch began his church music training with Dieter Wellmann . In 1972 he passed the C exam. After graduating from high school, he studied church music with Gisbert Schneider at the Folkwang University in Essen . After the A-exam in 1978, he supplemented his training with a postgraduate course in organ playing, which he completed with the concert exam. From 1979 to 1987 he worked as a church musician at the Lukaskirche in Düsseldorf . In 1987 he was appointed church music director at St. Michael in Hildesheim . Concert tours have taken him to numerous European countries. From 1992 to 1999 he also had a teaching position for choir conducting at the University of Hildesheim .
