Helmut Rehder (born June 22, 1905 in Hamburg-Bergedorf ; † January 10, 1977 in Austin ) was a German specialist in German .

Life

After graduating from the Goethe-Gymnasium Karlsruhe in 1923 , he studied from 1925 to 1929 at the universities of Berlin and Heidelberg with Heinrich Rickert , Karl Jaspers, Julius Petersen , Carl Neumann , Carl Brinkmann and Hugo Lederer . After completing his doctorate in Heidelberg in 1929 with Karl Jaspers , he took the state examination from May 1929 to February 1931 at the University of Hamburg with Ernst Cassirer , Erwin Panofsky and Robert Petsch .
