Helmut Schaumberger (* 1971 in Steyr ) is an Austrian music teacher and choir director .

education

After graduating from high school in Steyr, Helmut Schaumberger studied music education at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna as well as German philology at the University of Vienna . He completed his teaching degree with a diploma thesis on Hubert von Goisern, recommended by the Institute for Music Education Vienna as the best review work . In 2018, Helmut Schaumberger received his doctorate in music education from the Mozarteum University in Salzburg with a thesis on the professionalization of children and youth choir leaders . His teachers and mentors in choral conducting include Johannes Prinz, Alois Glaßner, Heinz Ferlesch and Herbert Böck.

Artistic creation
