Helmuth Feigl

Helmuth Feigl (born December 5, 1926 in Vienna ; † March 4, 2008 ) was an Austrian historian and archivist .

Life

Helmuth Feigl studied history and German at the University of Vienna . From 1978 to 1992 he headed the Lower Austrian Institute for Regional Studies . From 1984 to 1991 he was director of the Lower Austrian Provincial Archives .

Feigl was buried in the cemetery in Baden .
