Henning Larsen (athlete)
Henning Larsen (born December 12, 1910 in Helsingør ; † January 11, 2011 ibid.) Was a Danish marathon runner .
In 1946 he finished eighth in 2:32:50 h at the European Athletics Championships in Oslo on a distance of about 2 km too short, and came third in the Košice Marathon with his personal best of 2:38:37 h.
In 1947 he was fourth in Košice in 2:41:31 h, and in 1948 at the Olympic Games in London he was tenth in 2:41:22 h.
Nine times he was Danish champion in the marathon (1941, 1943–1950), six times in the 20 km road run (1939, 1941, 1943, 1947, 1949, 1950) and once each over 5000 m (1937) and 10,000 m .
