Alexandre Charles Georges Henri Arthus (born March 10, 1872 in Le Mans , † August 12, 1962 in Houilles ) was a French sailor .
successes
Henri Arthus, who for the Cercle de la Voile de Paris sailed, took in 1908 in London at the Olympic Games in part in the 6-meter class. As skipper of the Guyoni , he secured the bronze medal alongside his crew members Pierre Rabot and Louis Potheau . According to a fourth place in the first race of the reach Guyoni two second places in the following two races, so that the race behind the Dormy the British skipper Gilbert Laws and the Zut of Léon Huybrechts completed on the third rank.
