Henri Bonin-Pissarro , pseudonym BOPI (born July 1918 in Penac Dordogne, France , † 2003 ) was a French painter . He comes from the artist family Pissarro .

Frédéric Bonin-Pissarro is the son of the painter Alexandre Bonin and Jeanne (Cocotte), née Pissarro, daughter of the "father of Impressionism ", Camille Pissarro . His siblings were Madeleine, André, Denise and Claude Bonin-Pissarro . His wife's name was Simone.

Henri Bonin-Pissarro lived in Saint-Ouen-sur-Morin and moved to Nice in 1981 .

His work was often expressionist , making pastiches that he signed with his name Henri Bonin-Pissarro. He later found his own style using neo-pop techniques and in 1989 adopted the pseudonym BOPI for these works . In these works, he reduced reality to a plane defined by an x ​​and y axis.
