Richard von Puttkamer

Richard von Puttkamer (* 1826 , † 1898 ) was a German administrative officer and manor owner.

Richard von Puttkamer was born the son of the Prussian administrative officer and member of parliament Eugen von Puttkamer and Emilie, née. von Zitzewitz (1803-1852). The Prussian Interior Minister Robert von Puttkamer (1828–1900), the Prussian politician Bernhard von Puttkamer and the Prussian District President Jesco von Puttkamer were his brothers.

Life

Puttkamer studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . In 1844 he became a member of the Corps Saxo-Borussia Heidelberg . He became the owner of the Glowitz manor . From 1885 until his death in 1898 he was District Administrator of the district Stolp .
