Alexander Dietrich von Puttkamer

Alexander Dietrich von Puttkamer (born March 6, 1712 in Stolp ; † May 14, 1771 ibid) was a Prussian lawyer and long-time district administrator in the Stolp district .

He was a member of the Puttkamer noble family . His father Georg-Dietrich von Puttkamer was a royal Polish general; his mother Anna Catharine was an adopted daughter of the Imperial Russian General Patrick Gordon . Alexander Dietrich von Puttkamer attended the Halle Education Center and then studied law . In 1734 he became court judge at the court in Köslin .

From 1740 he was district administrator of the Stolp district . In 1742 he acquired the Wendisch Plassow manor in the district , where he took up residence. He died in 1771; Friedrich Bogislaw von Puttkamer followed him as district administrator .

Alexander Dietrich von Puttkamer was first married to Barbara Sophie von Below , a daughter of District Administrator Heinrich Friedrich von Below . After her death he married Ernestine von Jatzkow .
