Christian Ludwig Friedrich von Gottberg

Christian Ludwig Friedrich von Gottberg (born November 13, 1789 , † December 30, 1850 in Kolberg ) was a Prussian major and district administrator .

Life

Since April 1, 1812 he was master of Mahnwitz and served in the Prussian army . As Rittmeister he took part in the Battle of Dennewitz , which is why he was awarded the Iron Cross . On August 15, 1828, he was appointed major and leader of the 2nd contingent in the 2nd Battalion of the 21st Landwehr Regiment. From 1831 he became district administrator in the Stolp district , where he was again confirmed as such by election and subsequent royal appointment in 1843 . As a district administrator he was awarded the Order of the Red Eagle III. Class honored with a ribbon.

family

Ludwig Friedrich was the 4th son of Gustav Wilhelm von Gottberg († 1803) and Philippine Jacobine von Wobeser († 1822). He was first married to Johanna von Zitzewitz from the Dumröse house , from this marriage the son Hans von Gottberg († 1890) emerged, who succeeded his father in Mahnwitz and as Stolp'scher district administrator. From his second marriage to Ferdinande von Zitzewitz (* April 7, 1804, † January 25, 1847) from the Turzig house, two daughters survived him.
