Henrich Ernst Kestner (born February 3, 1671 in Detmold ; † July 5, 1723 in Rinteln ) was a German lawyer and university professor .

After studying in Frankfurt (Oder) and Halle (Saale), Kestner received his doctorate on July 1, 1696. As a full professor at the University of Rinteln , he supervised numerous dissertations and wrote over thirty treatises on the most diverse areas of law in natural law , Roman law and Canon law Right and German law .
