Henriette Heichel

Henriette Pauline Heichel ( born Henriette Pauline Strobel on November 13, 1953 in Amsterdam ) is a Dutch singer and member of the pop group Dschinghis Khan .

Career

She was born as the daughter of the dentist Helmut Karl Strobel and the housewife and secretary Catharina Jeanette Strobel (née Mosk). She attended the Groen van Prinstererschool in Amstelveen , the "Middelbare Meisjes School" (MMS), and then got private lessons in Oberstdorf . She trained as a dental assistant and was a mannequin , beautician and figure skater.

On April 9, 1976 she married Wolfgang Heichel . She had met him in a pub while performing with his band at the time. He accidentally chipped a piece of a tooth with the microphone. The owner of the restaurant knew that Henriette was a dental assistant and sent Wolfgang to see her.

In 1979 she and her then husband Wolfgang Heichel, Edina Pop , Leslie Mandoki , Steve Bender and Louis Hendrik Potgieter in the band "Dschinghis Khan" with the title of the same name came 4th for Germany at the Grand Prix . The band broke up in 1986 shortly after Henriette divorced Wolfgang. Henriette ended her musical career in 1987 with a guest performance in the DK Family .

Today she lives with her boyfriend in Mallorca and works in the fashion industry there. On December 17, 2005, she met Edina Pop, Steve Bender, Wolfgang Heichel and the three guest players Stefan Track , Ebru Kaya and Daniel Käsling at a reunion concert in the Olympijski Arena in Moscow for a comeback for Dschinghis Khan .
