Henriette Smeby (born November 13, 1986 in Raufoss , Vestre Toten ) is a former Norwegian ski jumper .

At the age of 13 Smeby began her international career as a pre-wrestler in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup . In 2001 she took part in the FIS Ladies Grand Prix and came in second overall. In 2002 she won the gold medal at the Norwegian Summer Championships in Rælingen . From 2003 she started at FIS jumping . At the 2004 Norwegian Championships in Bardu , she won gold on the normal hill. She won the silver medal on the large hill in Oslo . On July 23, 2004, she made her debut in the Continental Cup. She was able to achieve 6th place twice in Park City . At the Norwegian Championships in Lillehammer in 2005 , Smeby won bronze on the normal and large hill. After several good placements, including 7th place in Vikersund , she finished the 2004/05 season in 12th place.

In 2005, Smeby ended her international career after she only weighed 39 kg due to anorexia nervosa . Her last official competition she jumped at the Norwegian Championships 2006 in Kongsberg . There she won silver again on the normal hill.

Henriette Smeby is the sister of ski jumping coach Jostein Smeby , who is married to the Swede and later teammate Helena Olsson Smeby .
