Henrik Herse
Henrik Herse , actually Friedrich Hahn (born October 12, 1895 in Dessau (Anhalt); † March 16, 1953 in Malente ) was a farmer, worker, dramaturge and writer as well as SS- Obersturmführer in the main office and Obersturmführer of the Waffen-SS .
Live and act
Most of his books were published by the SS Nordland Verlag ; There were translations in Dutch and Norwegian. The book The Battle of the White Ships and Riders for German Southwest , which was distributed to several HJ branches, is particularly well-known and is still well known to those interested in Namibia .
After the end of the war, his writings Shambok , The Battle of the White Ships , Reiter für Deutsch-Südwest , Madrid and Wahr dich, Garde, der Bauer ist in the Soviet occupation zone were placed on the list of literature to be sorted out. Some of the books were re-published as facsimiles by Husum Kultur-Verlag in the 1990s.
His estate is in the Schleswig-Holstein State Library .
