Henry Acquah (born August 31, 1965 ) is a former Ghanaian football player . He was a striker .
career
Acquah moved in 1989 from Hearts of Oak SC to the German second division club Preußen Münster and became a crowd favorite there. After the relegation of the Prussians in the 1990/91 season , he played with the club for another year in the then third-class Oberliga Westfalen. In total, he played 43 second division games.
Several years followed with lower-class clubs. Acquah played for the top division club SpVg Marl in the 1992/93 season, and with VfB knowledge he made it to the Regionalliga West / Südwest in 1994 . In 1995 he moved to league competitor Alemannia Aachen . In 1997, after a year with the Malaysian club Perlis FA , Acquah initially ended his career. In 1999 he rejoined VfL Hamm / Sieg in Germany for two years .
Henry Acquah made 30 full international appearances for Ghana .
