Henry Marsh (athlete)
Henry Marsh ( Henry Dinwoody Marsh; born March 15, 1954 in Boston ) is a former American obstacle runner .
In 1976 he was tenth at the Montreal Olympics , and in 1979 he won gold at the Pan American Games in San Juan .
At the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 1983 he was eighth and fourth at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
In 1987 a silver medal at the Pan American Games in Indianapolis was followed by a sixth place at the World Cup in Rome . He was also sixth in the following year at the Olympic Games in Seoul .
He was a total of nine US champions (1978, 1979, 1981-1987).
Henry Marsh is a graduate of Brigham Young University .
