Herbert Franz Goldmann (born May 28, 1954 in Iserlohn ) is a German administrative officer and politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ). From 2012 to 2017 he was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Life

After completing secondary school in 1971, Goldmann did an internship at the city of Iserlohn. This was followed in 1973 by training for the higher non-technical service . In 1976 he graduated from a university of applied sciences, then worked in the Iserlohn building department and attended the North Rhine-Westphalia University of Applied Sciences in Hagen . From 1978 to 1981 further training followed at the Administration and Business Academy in Bochum . The graduate in administration was from 1986 to 1993 the auditor at the auditing office and from 1993 to 2010 head of the environmental department of the city of Iserlohn. From 2010 to 2012 he was a consultant in the planning, building, environmental and climate protection department.

Party and politics

Goldmann has been a member of the Greens since 1988. He was a knowledgeable citizen in the district parliamentary group from 1994 to 1999. Herbert Goldmann has been a member of the Unna district council since 1999 and has been the parliamentary leader of his party since 2002. Since 2005 he has been a member of the Association Day of the Regional Association Ruhr . In the state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2012 , he won a mandate on the state list of his party, which he held until 2017.

Herbert Goldmann is married and has three children. He lives in Fröndenberg / Ruhr .
