Herbert Jullien
Herbert Jullien (born April 16, 1949 in Trier ) is a former Rhineland-Palatinate politician ( CDU ).
Education and professional
In 1968, Jullien graduated from high school and began training for the higher service in financial administration . In 1971 he passed his exams with a degree in finance . In the same year he began his work in the financial administration, most recently as a tax officer in the tax investigation department at the Trier tax office . In 1992 he was licensed as a tax advisor .
In 2006, Jullien resigned from his party offices after the Koblenz Regional Court sentenced him to a fine for subsidy fraud and attempted tax evasion.
In 2007 he was warned in two cases by the Wittlich District Court for forging documents. The court also ordered him to pay € 12,000.
In October 2009, Jullien was also fined for infidelity. As managing director of Tourismus GmbH in Bad Bertrich, he had abused business accounts for private purposes and paid his daughter's electricity bill for 1,440 euros in company money.
Because of unpaid membership fees, Jullien has not been a member of the CDU since 2009.
Political
The father of two daughters was a member of the CDU between 1972 and 2009 and was deputy chairman of the CDU district association Cochem-Zell from 1984 to 2006 . From 1984, Herbert Jullien member council Bullay . He also held the following offices:
- Member of the municipal council in Zell (from 1989)
- CDU parliamentary group chairman in the Zell an der Mosel municipal council (until 2008)
- Member of the Cochem-Zell district council (from 1994)
- Member of the State Parliament (1994 to 2006)
