Herbert Kerrigan
Herbert Kerrigan ( Herbert William "Bert" Kerrigan ; born January 24, 1879 in Portland , Oregon , † September 10, 1959 in San Francisco , California ) was an American high jumper .
In 1905 he was US champion with 1.85 m. At the Olympic Intermediate Games in 1906 , he was unable to exhaust his capabilities due to an injury sustained on the voyage. He shared the bronze medal with Themistoklis Diakidis by skipping 1.725 m , behind Con Leahy (1.775 m) and Lajos Gönczy (1.75 m). In standing vault and pole vault , Kerrigan was both tenth in Athens.
