Herbert Wilhelm (born June 8, 1922 in Berka / Werra ) is a German economist .

Life

Herbert Wilhelm studied economics in Nuremberg and was 1948 at the college for economic and social sciences Nuremberg , from 1961 Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nuremberg , with the work Kaspar Hauser . A contribution to sociology. PhD .

From 1957 to 1998 Wilhelm was also director of studies at the Administration and Business Academy (VWA) in Braunschweig. He is the namesake of the Herbert Wilhelm Prize for the best diploma thesis in the business administration course at VWA Braunschweig. The Herbert Wilhelm Foundation was established for this purpose in 2006.

Since 1952 he has been an honorary member of the Catholic student association KDSt.V. Ostmark Nuremberg in the CV .
