Heribert Kania (March 2, 1932 - February 29, 2012 ) was a German football player . The defender played for Preußen Münster for over a decade in his footballing career . With the Prussians he was active as a player during their most successful time. From 1952 to 1963, the defensive player played 223 league games (1 goal) in what was then the first-class football Oberliga West . In the debut season of the Bundesliga , 1963/64 , he played 16 games.
