Hermann Falke , also Falcke (* 1513 or 1514; † December 1, 1559 in Lübeck ) was a lawyer and mayor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.

Hermann Falke was the son of Lübeck's mayor and fleet leader Hermann Falcke, who died in 1530 . He completed his law studies at the University of Rostock with a doctorate in law. both rights. At first he was Livonian Chancellor. In 1548 he was elected to the Lübeck council and in 1553 appointed mayor. He represented the city in 1553 together with councilor Gottschalk von Wickede († 1558) and the envoys of other Hanseatic cities in Bruges . From Bruges the embassy traveled on to London in order to obtain confirmation of the privileges for the merchants of the Hanseatic League in the Stalhof at the English court . In 1557 he also traveled on the same mission. He represented the city of Lübeck on several Hanseatic days between 1550 and 1557. Falke was married to Abelke Carstens. He lived in the house he inherited from his father at 33 Breiten Strasse . In 1560, Johann Bocerus wrote a mourning poem for him and other members of the council.
