Hermann Finckh

Hermann Finck (* 31 May 1910 in Salach , † 28. April 1962 in Lome , Togo ) was a German politician of the CDU .

Life

Finckh, who was a Protestant , first attended elementary school in Salach, then secondary schools in Göppingen and Korntal . The secondary school leaving certificate was followed by a visit to the higher commercial school in Stuttgart . From 1929 to 1931 he completed a commercial apprenticeship in London and Paris . This was followed by a brief activity as a representative of a French company in Württemberg . From 1934 to 1941 and from 1945 he was employed by a wool yarn factory in Süßen , for which he also worked abroad. In the meantime he was a soldier in World War II from 1941 to 1945 .

In 1937 he joined the NSDAP as authorized signatory ( membership number 5,895,922). After the Second World War he joined the CDU.

Finckh was a council member in Süßen. From 1952 he belonged to the constituent state assembly and the first state parliament of Baden-Württemberg until 1956 as a member of the state parliament . He was also a member of the German Bundestag from 1953 until his death. He represented the constituency of Göppingen in parliament.
